In the small town of Eagle, Alaska, there is a young woman who is a talented artist; Krystie DePue who makes some very interesting pieces of art, which is not just art but finely crafted jewelry.

What is very interesting about some of this jewelry is that some where she found Trading Beads that were used when the white man came to Alaska to use as money. Which if you order a piece of her Jewelry you will be receiving a very old piece of Alaska's and American History as part of the package.

You can review her art work at Log Cabin Creations, Eagle Alaska she not only makes jewelry but shoulder bags and other interesting things. All that she makes is a custom piece and much is made to individual taste.

You will be surprised to learn that she comes by this natural talent in art. Her father's Uncle Forest is the same "Forest Knott" that made "Custom Western Riding Saddles" in the 1950's though the 1970's.  The man who made the saddle that "John Wayne" used in many of his movies. ( This I know as when I was young I was visiting in his Saddle Shop and I saw the saddle being made.) Her grandmother was a highly talented artist; as is her father who is a fine wood worker and gunsmith. For years I had a whale that he carved out of a bar of Ivory Soap; I don't know what happened to it.

Krystie has come to her own in developing her art forms; she is as I have been informed the local computer fix it person in the town of Eagle, Alaska as well. Not bad, being the wife of the minister of a small church.
