My Self Education In Computers. Antivirus

What we should do when the antivirus with a 60 day free trial expires. This applies to new computers only, using a Microsoft Operating System. Well I will suggest  we go down to the bottom right of the tool  bar and open the Security Center.

Second I would read what it say about Antivirus not found and then left click on Recommendations from there I would find Microsoft's Security Essentials. Click on it find your Windows operating system XP, Vista or Windows 7.

Click: Down load when the the down load pop up comes up click save. Reason for this is that you will have go into your Administrator Account - Control Panel- Add / Remove Programs- find the installed Antivirus
and click remove or uninstall.

Why do we need to do this; because you have to remove all previous Antivirus, before you install an New one. Failure to do so could cause a Blue Screen of Death. Caused by conflicting programs.

You ask why I recommend  http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/  well first of all it is free second you can use your Windows Firewall with it and unlike, many Antivirus Programs, you do not have to educate the program to learn what your Internet Activities are which can cause your computer to slow down to a crawl.

Causing us great irritation and I hate Antivirus Programs Syndrome. It's killing my computer and any other thoughts about taking a very large hammer to the computer. That many of us had  concerning out Antivirus Programs.

I discovered this freeware Antivirus about 6 months ago and so far I have been very pleased with it and have installed it on the 6 computers in my house.

The program found 4 Trojan Horses in my niece's computer which pleased me greatly when I installed and ran the program on full scan.
